I have come across a number of men who have placed them at the very center of the world they perceive, which is not all wrong. However there’s a catch, the heightened notion of self leads to self preservation. In self preservation reposes on self love. This doesn’t one to go wrong and often showing the symptoms of Dunning-Kruger effect. They don’t know what they don’t know.
The knowledge which may defy their self and their very idea of existence upon which they repose ultimate significance is yet to come.
Being Delusional
I call people delusional who don’t understand that gaps in what they image and what they may probably do. Definitely not are those delusional who just keep imagining. There’s nothing wrong in imagining weird stuff. But it is wrong when you don’t act in accordance with the imagination that you’ve drawn. Don Quixote was not delusional, he was simply mad.
Annihilation of Self
A man starts the journey with an optimum self love. The self love is rightly positioned so as to allow to annihilate itself. For simple understanding, here the lover and beloved both are one, for the greatest achievement of self i.e. the beloved, one has to sacrifice the self i.e. the lover. The man who truly wants his irrational image is ready to die for it. But death sounds pretty simple. It’s not the death in the literal sense but opposite of self preservation. The person is ready to take any risk, struggle for it, take any amount of pain.
If there is such a man, he needs to be respected.
